Isaac FARMER originally started the cemetery. The land belonged to Henry Clyde and Mary Elizabeth Wilson MINOR who are buried in the Overton City Cemetery. Many of the unmarked graves were dug up when the county widened this road in 1962. The remaining marked graves are: TERRY, Mary C. - 12 July 1837 - 22 Dec 1868 Married 29 July 1856 in Hardin County, TN - wife of John C. Terry (Stone about 30' east of fence.) BARBER, John - 1820-1883 - (a homemade flat cement stone located within an iron fence, directly on edge of road) BARBER, Basha - (no dates) BARBER, Ely - (no dates) (Known by great-granddaughters Donnie & Ardie Bills 26 Dec 1950)
