Held went to Orange today to fill Rev. Kendall's pulpit. Miss Leone McVey and Wal ???? McVey of Sedalia, Md., are in the city visiting Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Fleck. Miss Mary Sawyer, former librarian of the Carnegie library, left yesterday for Carthage, Mo., to visit her sister. Mr. Cox, who has been ill at his home on East Ferguson steet is reported as improving. Mrs. Tom Frazier is quite ill at her home 408 East Line street. Mrs. H. I. McGregor and child of Dallas, are in the city, the guests of Mrs. I. H. McLean, Pastor. ----------------------------------------------------------------- ST. PAUL CHURCH For some time St. Paul (M. E.) church in South Tyler has been without a pastor, and having been urged to do so by members of this church, Rev. J. C. Calhoun has agreed to preach to that congregation at stated times for the present. Rev. Calhoun is one of the ablest preachers in this part of the state and he is well liked by the people.
