F. Starr, Sr., of Palestine arrived in the city this morning. Jesse Overton made a business trip to Lindale this morning. Mrs. G. G. Kerr of Oklahoma City, who had been the guest of her brother, H. Smith, and family in this city, left for her home on the morning International. Miss Willie Johnson, who is quite sick with pneumonia, is reported to be somewhat improved today. Mrs. Doc Bowman, who has been quite sick with lagrippe at her home on Border street is very much improved. The little son of Rev. M. O. Meador is very sick at the family residence on West Bow street. Miss Lucille Lott has been ill at her home on North Broadway for several days but is reported convalsecent. Mrs. H. C. Boazman left this morning for Dallas to visit relatives and friends. Mrs. Bertha Smith, who has been in St. Louis and other markets buying a select line of milinery for Mrs. C. C. Morton, has returned. Mrs. J. A. Caswell and children will leave tomorrow for Bullard where they will join Mr. Caswell and reside in the future. Mrs. T. B. Reagan is reported as being quite ill at her home in North Tyler. Dean & McDaniel are moving into their new quarters on North Broadway today. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- NEW MILLINERY STORE Mrs. C. C. Morton, assisted by her sister, Mrs. Bertha Smith, will on or about the 15th of March, open a first class millinery establishment on the west side of the square. These ladies are thoroughly skilled in the art and Mrs. Smith stated to a Courier man that she had purchased a most elegant line, selecting the Gage and other famous hats.
