Little May Cathalin Mitchell is reported very ill. A. Schuh returned to Dallas today on the International. J. L. Smith of Guntersville, Ky., is in the city, the guest of his aunt Mr. Pete Kilfoyle, on North Boren street. Miss Willie Johnson rested well last night and is now thought she is out of danger. Mrs. Justin C. Smith has returned to Houston. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Hogan will leave tonight for the city of Mexico, where they go in the interests of Mrs. Hogan's health. Miss Zola Everett returned yesterday from Grand Saline, where she has been visiting friends and relatives. Prof. Antonio Cruse and Earl Jones of Athens, came in yesterday and played in the Fireman's band in the parade yesterday afternoon. Rev. W. F. Packard received a telegram from Rev. Brown, who is to conduct the revival at Marvin church, stating that he cannot get here until 1:30 p.m. tomorrow. On account of the inclement weather there will be no services tonight. Albert Meyer for a number of years with the firm of Mayer & Schmidt and a very popular gentlemen, is in the city shaking hands with his numerous friends and calling on the comercial trade. Mr. Meyer is traveling out of New Orleans. Mr. A. V. Swaty and wife are in the city this afternoon. Mr. Swaty is the horticultural agent for the K.C.S. railroad and brought as far as this city the Packer special excursion of commission men and merchants from The train spent two hours in our city today and then went south. Mr. and Mrs. Swaty will return from here to Texarkana after visiting friends.
