DOCKERY.—Sister Susan Matilda Dockery was born in Smith county, Texas, 
April 8, 1857; was married September 7, 1876; professed religion in 
the summer of 1877; joined the M. E. Church, South, August 2, 1883; 
died march 26, 1884. She had been lingering with the consumption. We 
visited her some time before she died, and she was very feeble then. 
She leaves a husband and several children in mourning; but thank God, 
we trust she has gone to swell the chorus of that heavenly choir where 
tears are all dried and sorrow is not known. She died near Rogers, in
Bell county. May the father so live and train the little children that 
they may meet the wife and mother in that land where angels will waft 
their spirits home.
