SWEA CITY [KOSSUTH, IOWA] - Funeral rites for Frank Kennedy, World war veteran, were held at the Catholic church at Armstrong [Emmet, Iowa] Wednesday with members of the Fisher post of the American Legion forming a military guard of honor. The body was then sent to Tyler, Texas, for burial by his brother, James Kennedy, who arrived here Tuesday. Kennedy was born in Glenary, Ireland and came to the U. S. A. at the age of 18. He became an American citizen and served two years with the American Expeditionary forces in France, serving in the ammunition transport service. He is survived by two brothers in the U.
