Mr. Phillips was an active chruchman and was a member of the K. of P., Woodmen of World and I.O.O.F. lodges. It will be remembered that one of his brothers, Luther Phillips, a well known Cotton Belt engineer was injured some days ago in a wreck which happened three miles south of Waco. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Cemetery Records of Smith County, TX, Volume I, Oakwood and Rose Hill Cemeteteries, The East Texas Genealogical Society, 1981, Tyler, TX Page 18 Oakwood Cemetery William T.
