She was married to Mr. James Walker, February 1899. To this union twelve children were born. She departed this life April 8, 1960. She leaves to mourn her passing five daughters, five sons, one sister, one brother, forty nine grand children, forty four great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and a host of relative and friends. Our whole family resides in Tyler and Smith County to this day. Her brother's and sister's names not mentioned were Jim Thomas Jr., Lee Thomas, Bonnie Thomas, Jesse Thomas, Trudie Thomas, Garfield Thomas of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Ed Thomas of California. (some were previously deceased) Sister's were Johnnie (who also was married to her husband's brother) of Wichita Falls and Vernon Texas, Harriet Thomas Guys of Oklahoma, Texana Marie Thomas Verner of Stillwater area, Oklahoma and Daisy Thomas Devereaux of Ponta, Texas. Her mother's name was Alice Means Thomas. Garland A. Ervin
