WELL KNOWN CITIZEN DIED SUNDAY AFTERNOON News reaches the city of the sudden death of J. W. Steele, a well-known citizen living near Bullard, which occurred Sunday afternoon about 4 o'clock. Mr. Steele was engaged in teaching a Sunday school class at a church near Bullard when he was suddenly stricken and died in less than an hour. It is said a ruptured blood vessel was the cause of his death. He was about 60 years old and an old settler. He is survived by his wife, who is a daughter of "Uncle" Caleb Smith, and several children.
