Miss Bettie Strayhorn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Strayhorn, died
on the 21 July, 1906, after an illness of six weeks.  She was one of
Tylers most charming and beautiful young women, yet in her teens at
the time of her death, she was possessed of those qualities of mind
and heart and the charms of person and manners, which made her
beloved and admired by those who knew her.  She had been a member of
the First Baptist church of Tyler, for three years.  Funeral Services
will be held at the First Baptist church tomorrow afternoon at 4
o'clock.
