Patricia "Trish" Winslow of Booker Creek Apartments died Tuesday 
(22 Feb 1994) in University of North Carolina Hospitals after several
 months of declining health.  She was 51 years old.

Mrs. Winslow was a native of Lawrenceville, Lawrence, IL (born to 
Durward and Gladys Laveta Harris Poland on 25 Apr 1942 in Mount Vernon, 
IL).  Trish was raised and went to school in Lawrenceville where her 
parents owned and operated a grocery store.

Trish married Dale Tate Gray of Lawrenceville, IL and had three 
children, Julie Lynn, Jodee Lee, and Jeffrey Dale.  

Her second marriage was to Don Caseltine of Indiana. Don and Trish 
moved to Tyler, Smith, TX in 1965.  She and her husband, Don, (along 
with Carlie Norwood) owned and operated a Mexican restaurant in Tyler 
called Taco Grande.  There were two restaurants, one on the loop and 
one on S. Beckham.  Her marriage to Don Caseltine produced three more 
children, Misty Raye, Jacqueline Mary, and Donald Caseltine II. While 
in Tyler, the family attended the West Erwin Street Church of Christ.  
Don and Trish lived for many years in Tyler before moving to Austin, 
TX in 1972.

Trish married for the third and final time to Kenelm Hudson Winslow. 
Ken and Trish did not have any children together but Ken brought his 
son to the family, John McMaster Winslow.  Ken and Trish moved the 
family to Chapel Hill, NC in 1979.  Trish attended and was a graduate 
of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (We are all proud of 
her for that.  She went back to school in her forties after raising a 
bunch of children).

Trish was a woman who loved life.  She was full of spirit and joy.  It 
was always a pleasure and a treat to be in her company.  We will surely 
miss her.

A memorial service will be held at 10:am Saturday in Gerrard Hall on 
the UNC Campus.

Trish is survived by her husband, Kenelm Hudson Winslow; four 
daughters, Julie Winslow, Jodee O'Neill, and Jacqui Winslow, all of 
Chapel Hill, and Misty Hopkins of Cleveland, GA; three sons, Jeffrey 
Caseltine and Donnie Caseltine, both of Texas and John Winslow of 
Greenville, NC; her Mother, Laveta Poland of Van, TX; and six 
grandchildren (James and Jennifer O'Neill and Ashley, Byran, Holly, 
and Cassie Hopkins).

Trish is prededed in death by her father Durward Arvil Poland.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the UNC General 
Scholarship fund.
