This is the tombstone of John Hence Humberson.  He was born in Leon County, TX, 
and was an early resident of McLennan County, TX.  He married Sallie Erzola 
Presnall.  They lived for a while in Madison County, TX, and later migrated to 
Rio Grande County, CO, where they farmed, herded cattle, and prospected for 
gold and silver.
He returned to McLennan County, TX in the early 1900s, where he died in 1911.  
He was the father of 8 children, 6 of whom lived to adulthood.
