J. TEAGUE died March 24, 1905. He was born in Whitley County, Kentucky, January 22, 1832, afterwards the family moved to Alabama where he grew to manhood, hence he removed to Searcy County, Arkansas, where he was married to Miss S. E. Baker, December 29, 1853. To this union were born eleven children, three of which died in infancy, also one daughter, Mrs. Josie Plumer, died after having been married several years. Although he had no diploma he spent many years in the practice of medicine with more than ordinary success. He was noted for his activity in everything with which he came in contact in life. He was strong physically and strong willed and ruled well his family and also gave to them loving counsel. He joined the Old School Baptist church in Stephens County, Texas, in 1878, was ordained deacon in 1880, which office he filled to the satisfaction of the brethren and sisters wherever he went. His wife, S. E. Teague, died June 18, 1900, and he then married in 1902 to Mrs. Belle Broyles, with whom he lived until the day of his death. Signed W. B.
