James L. Sanders married 26 November 1869 in Stone Co., MO to Rachael Plumlee
who was born 1844 in Carrol Co., AR.
James and family moved to Eastland Co., TX about 1875 along with Rachael's brothers.
James, Rachael and family moved on to Crytal Falls, Stephens Co., TX in the late 1880s
where the family remained until their death.
