Golden Pond Cemetery is located in Stonewall County beside the
schoolhouse bearing the same name chosen for its location. It is about
12 miles from Hwy 380 west of the Salt Fork of the Brazos River and due
north of Oriana Cemetery.
Some graves are unmarked and hard to detect in the grass and mesquite
trees. One unreadable stone shows only "McD"
