VANCE HENDERSON BAKER, 85, born March 8, 1916 in Oglesby, Texas, made his
final journey home Sunday, Jan 27, 2002.
Funeral: 11a.m. Wed, Jan 30 in the Drawing Room of Thompson's Harveson &
Cole Funeral Home. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Crowley Rd., Fort Worth.

Vance retired from International Paper Company after 35 years of service.
He served honorably with the U.S. Navy during World War II.  He was a loving
and devoted husband, father, and grandfather and was adored by his three
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Junie Ruth Baker.

Suvivors: Son, David Vance Baker & his wife Joy; grandchildren, Jennifer
Elaine Baker, Trevor Brian Baker, and Aubrey Celisse Baker; sister, Margaret
Carter; nieces & nephews.
