   Peter Mueller-Beilschmidt
   Peter  Mueller-Beilschmidt  of Davis died on May 14, 2002, at home. He
   was 77.
   He  was  born  on  May  18, 1924, in Halle on der Saale in Germany. He
   immigrated  to  the  United  States  in  1951 to continue his graduate
   studies in irrigation at UC Davis.
   He  served  as  a professional irrigation consultant in California for
   more  than  40 years; most of those years were spent in the Sacramento
   Valley. He was a longtime advocate of water conservation in California
   agriculture and an avid pilot.
   He  is  survived  by  four  daughters:  Helene Mueller-Beil-schmidt of
   Crowley,  Texas;  Doria Mueller-Beilschmidt and her children Dario and
   Matteo  Salvato,  all  of  Richmond;  Petra  Wages of Woodland and her
   children  Holly  Isble  of Sacramento, Seraph, Tessa and Ren Trice and
   Dea  and  Cole Wages, all of Woodland; and Georgina Mueller-Beilscmidt
   of  Davis  and her children Jessica Cox of Woodland, Jerri Marenger of
   Davis and Jacklyn Hansen of Pasa Robles.
   After  cremation, his ashes will be scattered during a private service
   in the Pacific Ocean.
