A boy, 12, son of Lorenzo Bertram, living on the Little Wichita, was
accidentally shot on the evening of the 7th. He came into the house and taking
his father’s gun, went to blow into the muzzle of it to see if it was loaded and
while hold his mount to the muzzle of the gun, it went off, killing him
instantly. – Texas North West
