Mary Ellen Bright, 81, of Stephenville, a retired
nurse, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006, at a Denton nursing
home.

Service was Tuesday, Dec. 26, at Lacy Funeral Home
Chapel with Derwood Holloway officiating.  Burial was
at the Nancy Smith Cemetery in Glen Rose.  

Mary was born Feb. 19, 1925, in Glen Rose, to Bryant
Wilson and Clara Belle Syers McCarty.  She was a
member of the Baptist church.

Survivors: Son Derwood Holloway and wife, Tanya of
Decatur; daughter, Annon Spann of Mansfield; daughter
Donna and husband Frank Rejsek of East Bernard;
sisters, Wanda Mason of Garland; Barbara Luttrell of
Morgan Mill; and Opal Phillips of Bedford; six
grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
