All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************** Mansfield News Mirror June 1994 Funeral services for Louise Cabaniss, 87, of Mansfield, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 1994, in the Mansfield Church of Christ. Interment followed in Hillcrest Cemetery in Waxahachie. Bob Pipes, former minister of the Mansfield Church of Christ officiated. Pallbearers were Jim Griffin, Bill Howard, Jesse Wayne Howard, Mike Wynn, John Krhovjak and Mike Ellis. Mrs. Cabaniss died at 9:30 p.m., Thursday, June 16, 1994 in the HCA Arlington Medical Center, Arlington. She was born May 26, 1907 in Maypearl, Texas, the daughter of John Lee and Callie Taylor Wynn, and was the widow of Henry Russell Cabaniss who preceded her in death in 1968. Mrs. Cabaniss was a member of the Mansfield Church of Christ, and was a retired school teacher, teaching for 40 years, and retired in 1976 from the Mansfield I.S.D. Her brother, Douglas Wynn, and her husband, Henry Cabaniss, operated a grocery store in Mansfield for a number of years before retiring in 1965. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Iva Marcia of Arlington.
