Mansfield - Bessie B. Sharrock Caldwell, 83, a retired
registered nurse, died Sunday, June 12, 2005, at a
Fairfield hospital.

Funeral: 10 a.m., Wednesday at Blessing Colonial
Chapel.  Burial: Palava Cemetery, Fisher County.

Bess was born Oct. 21, 1921, in Nolan County.  She
married Grover Clyde Caldwell on Oct. 8, 1939, in
Sweetwater.

Mrs. Caldwell was preceded in death by her husband,
Clyde; her sons, Raymond Wayne Caldwell in 1964, and
James Rodney Caldwell in 1946; daughter, Patricia Ann
Viegel in 1999; three brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors: Son, Anthony Alvin Caldwell of Fort Worth;
daughter, Brenda Joyce McGuire of Houston; 13
grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one great great
grandchild; and sister, Goldie Caldwell of Athens.
