Doyle Jarrell Carlton, 80, of Midlothian died Friday,
June 15, 1990, at a Waxahachie hospital.  Funeral
services were held Monday, June 18, at First United
Methodist Church in Midlothian.  Burial was in St.
Paul Cemetery, Midlothian, Texas.

Carlton was born June 13, 1910, in Jarrell, Williamson
County, Texas, the son of Walter Ray and Jimmie Etta
Stewart Carlton.  He was a longtime resident of
Midlothian.  

Survivors:  Wife, Martha Jo Bennett Carlton of
Midlothian; two sons, Stewart Morgan Carlton of
Midlothian and Stephen Marcus Carlton of Denton;
daughter, Bennetta Sue Bratton of Grapevine; two
brothers, Walter Olin Carlton of Cleburne and Worth
Maurice Carlton of Mansfield; and five sisters; Lettie
Irene Wilson, Juanita Frances Harmon and Louise Faye
Harris, all of Mansfield; Blanche Thelma Beckum of
Midlothian and Eloise Mae Elliott of Dallas.
