All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************** Mansfield News Mirror June 1994 Funeral services for Miss Ella Mae Casstevens, 79, of the Lillian-Pleasant Point community in Johnson County, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 11, 1994, in the Blessing Colonial Chapel, Mansfield, with interment following in Pleasant Point Cemetery, Johnson County, Texas. Grady King, minister of the Mansfield Church of Christ officiated. Pallbearers were Robert H. Steinbach, Dr. Herb Steinbach, Robert H. Casstevens, Joe T. Casstevens, Bill Garett, and Brett Carter. Miss Casstevens died at her home Thursday morning, June 9. She was born Jan. 18, 1915, in the Lillian-Pleasant Point community, the daughter of pioneer residents Ezra Lee (Boss) and Mary Edna Goode Casstevens, and was a lifelong resident of the area. Miss Casstevens was retired from Hobbs Trailer Company as a clerical clerk, and was a member of the Travis Avenue Baptist Church of Fort Worth. Survivors include two brothers, Horace Clinton Casstevens of Burleson and Harold Dan Casstevens of the Lillian-Pleasant Point community.
