Casstevens, 75, of Burlingame, California. He died Feb. 8, 1989, in Burlingame, San Mateo, California. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery, Alvarado, under the direction of Crosier-Pearson Funeral Home in Cleburne. Reverend Homer Pedan and Reverend Wayne Shuffield officiated. Pallbearers were Curtis Curlee, Dan Richardson, Phillip Holder, Herald Casstevens, John Casstevens, and Mike Richardson. He was born July 6, 1913, in Lillian, Johnson County, Texas, the son of Frank R. and Emma Elizabeth Cooke Casstevens. He was retired from Guy F. Atkinson Construction, and was a Baptist. He was a veteran of World War II and lived in California for many years. He was also a member of the Alvarado Masonic Lodge 314. He is survived by his wife, Jewell of Burlingame, Calif., two sons, James C. Casstevens of Napa, Calif., and Roy Lynn Casstevens of San Mateo, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
