All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************** Mansfield News Mirror April 1995 Funeral services for James Walter Chambers, 66, of Mansfield, will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 14, 1995, in the Blessing Colonial Chapel, with interment to follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Buddy Fry, minister of the Grandview Church of Christ officiating. Pallbearers will be John Wheat, Gary Wynn, Danny Marbut, Ed Bennison, Bill Palm and James Green. Mr. Chambers died at 12:40 a.m., Wednesday, April 12, 1995, at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born Nov. 8, 1928, in Fort Worth, the son of Joseph Walter and Susie Freeman Chambers. He married Carol Ruth Presley, April 28, 1963, in Arlington. Mr. Chambers was a veterinary supply salesman, president of Mansfield Metal and Rubber and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mansfield. Survivors include his wife, Carol Ruth Chambers of Mansfield; son, Timothy Alan Chambers of Grandview; stepsons, Stephen Gregory Nave of Weatherford; and Scott Alan Nave of Aledo; daughter, Mrs. Deborah Lynn ( James Rowan) Bragg of Fort Worth; and stepdaughter, Mrs. Susan Elaine (David B.) McDonald of Burleson; mother, Sue Freeman Chambers of Fort Worth; one brother, Freeman Lee Chambers of Fort Worth; and seven grandchildren.
