All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************** Mansfield News Mirror November 20, 1975 Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Ann Chasteen, 81, who died in an Arlington hospital Wednesday, Nov. 1, 1975 was held at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 14, in the Blessing-McInnis Chapel. Interment followed in Mansfield Cemetery. Rev. Billy Shipp and Rev. Sam Rowlett officiated. Mrs. Chasteen was born July 29, 1894, in Coryell County, Texas, the daughter of the late William Bonaparte and Rosetta Adeline Hodges Hight. She was a member of the Faith Chapel Church of Arlington. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Chasteen, July 20, 1957. Survivors: two stepdaughters, Mrs. Bertha Oleta (J. D.)Oliver of Mansfield, and Mrs. Fredna Merle (Sam Marvin) Jones of Arlington; seven stepsons, Olen Edgar Chasteen of Weatherford; Archie Melvin Chasteen and Bennie Lee Chasteen, both of Mansfield; Johnnie Oliver Chasteen of Grand Prairie; Cecil Delbert Chasteen of Fort Worth; Edward Earl Chasteen of Lancaster; and Bobby Gene Chasteen of Arlington; one brother, Jeff Hight of Waggoner, Oklahoma; 22 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and one great great-granddaughter.
