All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ***********************************************   Mansfield News Mirror August 10, 1992     Funeral services for Alvis Eli Coble, 81, of Mansfield were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 8, in the Church of Christ of Mansfield.  Bob Pipes of the church officiated.  Burial followed in Mansfield Cemetery under the direction of Blessing Funeral Home. Pallbearers:  Lann Paul Bolding, Larry Max Coble, Christopher Alan Coble, Daren Ledell Allee, Jimmy Morgan and Joseph Noah Bartlett. Mr. Coble died at 6:15 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 6, 1992, in the Arlington Medical Center. He was born June 8, 1991, McQueen, Oklahoma, the son of William Leonidas and Lula Bell Swan Coble.  He married Vida Faye Griffith, Oct. 11, 1937, in Hillsboro, Texas.  She preceded him in death Feb. 21, 1979.  He then married Winnie Louise Bishop Turner, Nov. 28, 1980 in Mansfield. Mr. Coble was a member of the Church of Christ of Mansfield and served as an Elder in past years.  He was a retired former; worked for LTV; helped operate the Webb Gin and operated the Britton Store for several years. Survivors include his wife, Winnie Coble of Mansfield; two daughters, Glenda Sue (John T.) Davis of Arlington, and Sherry Lynn (Robert Virgil) Sever of Parker, Colorado; one son, Larry Gafford Coble of Fort Worth; four stepdaughters, Kathryn Carol (Jesse Wayne) Howard, Doris Jeanette (Roy James) Seeton, Shirley Ann (Freddie Joe) Sweeney, all of Mansfield, and Rose Marie (Richard Joseph) Frashier of Arlington; one stepson, Harold Wayne Turner of Escondido, Calif.; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, and 22 step-great grandchildren.
