Burial followed at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Colvin died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, in Fort Worth. Born July 15, 1917, in McAlester, Okla., she was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Newark and the Newark Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.L. "Brad" Colvin in 1984. She is survived by three children, Bobby Colvin of Massachusetts, Betty Gallegos and Charlotte McAlister, both of Fort Worth; two sisters, Faye Webb of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Rossie Hammerstein of San Jose, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be made to Vitas Hospice, 2501 Parkview Drive, Suite 600 in Fort Worth, Texas, 76102.
