Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at Mercer-Adams Chapel, Bethany, Okla. Burial: Chapel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Cook was born July 31, 1918, in Culbertson, Neb. He was a member of Bethany First Church of the Nazarene and had served as a minister in the Church of the Nazarene since 1960. He devoted his life to his family, friends, churh and gardening. He spent his last days at the Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth before joing his wife of 60 years, Lydia, who preceded him in death. Eli was also preceded in death by parents, John and Anna, brother Reuben, and sister, Helen. Survivors: Sister, Edna of Portland, Ore., daughter, Doris Fine of Olatha, Kan., sons, Dean Cook of Blanchard, Okla, Devern Cook of Oklahoma City and Paul Cook of Fort Worth, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren all of whom he greatly adored and admired.
