All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ***********************************************   Fort Worth Star-Telegram (Used by permission from Fort Worth Star-Telegram) October 13, 2002     Betty Jean Dillehay, 82, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, in a local hospital surrounded by her family. Funeral:  10 a.m., Monday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel.  Dr. Al Meredith of Wedgwood Baptist Church will officiate.  Burial:  Laurel Land Memorial Park under the direction of Laurel Land Funeral Home. Betty was born in Texas, Feb. 28, 1920, the daughter of Homer E. (of Missouri) and Ethel (of Texas) Bressie.  Betty was a member of Wedgwood Baptist Church for 44 years and loved her family and friends.  She was a great aficionado of people, nature, travel and history. Survivors:  Husband of 57 years, Denton Charles Dillehay; children, Darla Gayle and husband, Bobby Lewis Brumbelow; Dr. Tommy Delton Dillehay and wife, Dr. Dana Nelson; and Vicki Lynne and husband, Robert Russell Gressett; stepdaughter, Patricia Ann and husband, David Richard (Bo) Stone; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
