MANSFIELD – Frances Athleen (Leat) Foster Franks, 88, a homemaker, died Sunday,
Oct. 22, 2000, at a Mansfield nursing home.

Funeral:  2 p.m., Tuesday at Blessing Funeral Home.  Burial:  Mansfield
Cemetery.

Frances Franks was born in Britton to John Timothy and Ollie Lavada Adams
Foster, Sr.  She married John David Franks, Jr. on Nov. 29, 1932, in Fort
Worth.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Feb. 5, 1993.

Survivors:  Son, John Charles Franks of Phoenix, AZ, and Morris David Franks of
Arlington; daughter, Ollie Rose McGill of Sherman; eight grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and brother, John Timothy
Foster, Jr. of Hico.
