All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************** Mansfield News Mirror November 1994 Funeral services for Juanita Frances Carlton Harmon, 88, of Mansfield, were held at 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 28, in the First United Methodist Church, Mansfield. Interment was at St. Paul Cemetery, Midlothian. Charles Rice and Larry Van Zile officiated. Blessing Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Larry Dean Vaughn, William W. Beckum, Carlton Robert Beckum, Stewart Morgan Carlton, David Shelton Wilson, and John Clinton Harmon. Mrs. Harmon died in the Vencor Hospital, Mansfield at 2:10 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, 1994, following a lengthy illness. She was born Dec. 5, 1905, in Belton, Texas, the daughter of Walter Ray and Jimmie Etta Stewart Carlton. She married John Henry Harmon, Feb. 25, 1927, in Denton. Her husband preceded her in death on May 26, 1972. She was also preceded in death by son, Henry Wayne Harmon on Jan. 25, 1977. Mrs. Harmon was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mansfield and was a retired clerk for Monnigs and Cox department stores. Survivors include one daughter, Linda Gayle Vaughn of Mansfield; two brothers, Walter Olin Carlton of Cleburne and Worth Maurice Carlton of Mansfield; four sisters, Lettie Irene Wilson, Blanche Thelma Beckum, Louise Faye Harris, and Eloise Mae Elliott, all of Mansfield; five grandchildren, Julie Kay Turney of Irving; Jennifer Gayle Turney of Carrolton; John Clinton Harmon of Mansfield; Lisa Gayle Harmon of Austin; and Whitney Ann Vaughn of Mesquite; two great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; and also loving, devoted companions, Louise Henry, Phyllis Roberts, and Pauline Jones.
