Loving, an old and highly respected citizen, died at his home, 211 North Florence street, Sunday, of heart disease. Mr. Loving was the first city treasurer of the city of Fort Worth, and acted under Captain Day’s administration. He filled the office during the years 1874-1879, inclusive. He was 54 years of age, and has for sometime past done a grocery, feed, and wood business at the corner of Belknap and Florence streets. He leaves a wife and two children, besides other relatives in the city. Funeral held at the residence conducted by Rev. E.D. Mouson, pastor of the First Methodist church.
