Milan died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, in Fort Worth. Born Jan. 6, 1928, in Chico, Milan graduated in 1945 from Chico High School as valedictorian. She was a member of the Edge Park United Methodist Church of Fort Worth since 1960 and was a former Sunday school teacher. She was a secretary at Wesco Refracteries until her retirement in 2000. She is survived by her three children, Janee Abrey of Dallas, Joey Milan and wife Leslie of Granbury and Paul Milan of Fort Worth; granddaughters, Shannon Milan of Arlington and Kinsey Cumba of Lubbock; a brother, Wayne Myers of Houston and a sister, LaNelle Stratton of Fort Worth.
