Zion Cemetery in Hall Summit, La. Nixon died Monday, Jan. 14, 2002, in Fort Worth. Born March. 18, 1924, in Quitman, she was a homemaker. She married Paul Nixon in 1951 and he preceded her in death in 1981. She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Phillips, Sr. of Alvord, Larry Nixon of Fort Worth and Paul Edward Nixon of Princeton, La.; one daughter, Anna Kates of Fort Worth; two brothers, Roy Nichols of Orlando, Fla., and Jesse Nichols of Coushatta, La.; three sisters, Lucille Sheppard of Fort Worth, Ida Rieas of St. Amante, La., and Patricia Smith of Gonzalas, La.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
