John William Parks, Jr., 76, passed away Friday, Dec.
15, 2006, at a Mansfield hospital.  Funeral was at
Blessing Colonial Chapel.  Burial: Pleasant Point
Cemetery, Lillian.

John was born Aug. 26, 1930 in Tarrant County to John
William Sr. and Verna Mae Boyett Parks.  

Survivors: Children, Pam Wilkerson of Burleson;
Patricia Ann Parks-Aceves of Duncanville; and Kenneth
Wayne Parks of Lancaster; six grandchildren; seven
great grandchildren; brother, George Winfred Parks and
wife, Carolyn of Lillian; and sister, Joyce P. Overman
of Tennessee.
