Josephine (Joscie) Zacek McConnell Stewart, 92, a
homemaker, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, at a Mansfield
hospital.

Funeral was Thursday at Blessing Funeral Home,
Mansfield.  Burial: Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield.

Josephine was born in Tarrant County on July 7, 1914,
the youngest daughter and sixth of nine children born
to Frank F., Sr. and Frances Miklis Zacek, who
immigrated to Texas from Czechoslovakia.  She was
preceded in death by her first husband, Marrian F.
(Mack) McConnell in 1968, and her second husband,
Garvin S. Stewart in 1986, her parents, and seven of
her siblings.

Survivors: Brother, Jimmie G. Zacek of Fort Worth;
daughter, Elizabeth Jo Dodson of Mansfield;
grandchildren, Mary Merlene and husband, William
Curtis Wallace; Kathryn Elaine and husband, Michael W.
McCullough; John D. Dodson and wife, Tess; Bryan
Thomas Dodson and Dawn Moran, all of Mansfield; 10
great grandchildren; and three great great
grandchildren.
