August 11, 1876 No. 32 Mrs. Ann Tish Walker Mrs. Walker was born in Kentucky, on 7 August 1851. When quite a child, her father, William B. Tucker, moved to Tarrant County, Texas, where she was reared, educated, married and died. She was a lady of fine personal appearance, and of more than ordinary intellectual attainments. She was handsome and of delicate frame, had more brains than physical strength, and on 25 July 1876, at the age of 24 years, 11 months, and 18 days, died of pulmonary consumption, just as a promise of usefulness had opened before her. The reader had known her for 20 years. A Friend
