She was born near Leesburg, Camp County, Texas, February 21, 1881, raised in a Christian home, by Methodist parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Banes. She is survived by a husband and five children, whose names are, Alfred, Howard, Lois, Juanita, Velma; four brothers and one sister, Wiley T. Banes, Luther V. Banes, Roy K. Banes, Lockie O. Banes, all of Fort Worth; Mrs. R. M. Chaney of Sulphur Springs, Texas. Lillie as she was known, was married to Mr. G. A. Wright of Fort Worth, a successful dairyman, February 11, 1902. She was buried in the Mount Olive Cemetery. (Sulphur Springs Gazette)
