Harrison Cemetery, Tarrant County, Texas *********************************************************** Submitted by: Cub Scout Pack 179 of the Longhorn Council Date: Copyright. Turn left (east) on Meadowbrook Boulevard, then right on Meadowbrook Drive, just past the little strip center. The cemetery is on the right. The Randol family owned a mill nearby and Randol Mill Road runs all through Ft. Worth and Arlington. My Cub Scout Pack (Pack 179 of the Longhorn Council) spent several hours cleaning this cemetery. Most of the tombstones are no longer readable, and at least two large ones are missing (there are two more bases like the one on which J.C. Randol's stone sits, but no other markers like that one). Many of the graves are marked with only sandstone rocks. We trimmed trees so the historical marker is visible from the road again. There IS poison ivy at the far left rear corner, where most of the headstones are. We cleaned a lot of it up, but visitors should be warned. by Cub Scout Pack 179 of the Longhorn Council photos of these stones are located at http://www.usgwarchives.net/tx/cemph/tarrant/harrison.html Before Cemetery View After Cemetery View Historical Marker Deason Marker D Marker Edward Deason J.
