Monroe of Clyde, 47, former Abilenian, died early Friday. Born [paper torn]. Miss Monroe moved with her parents to Callahan county in 1900. In 1930 she moved to Abileen where she resided for 10 years. Two years ago Miss Monroe moved to Clyde to make her home with a brother, B.C. Monroe, now of Waco. Funeral held Saturday at the First Baptist church in Clyde with the pastor officiating. Burial in the Eula cemetery. The body will be in the state here at Kiker-Knight mortuary until time for the funeral. Survivors: 6 brothers - Jim of Shreveport, LA; Joe of Melrose, NM; Sebe of Oplin; Frank of Clyde; J.M. of Peperia, CA; J.H. of Bakersfield, Calif.; 2 sisters: Mrs. J.F. Capreas of Redwood, Calif., Mrs. Harley Woods of Abilene.
