Rev. Marvin Boyd, pastor of the First Methodist church will officiate. Mr. Young, drilling superintendent for the Robinson Drilling Co. in Abilene died Wednesday in DePaul Hospital, St. Louis, MO, where he had been confined since Sept. 1. His wife and son, Boyd were at his bedside at the time of his death. Graveside rites in Elmwood Memorial Park under the auspices of Abilene Masonic Lodges. The body will lie in state at Elliott's Funeral Home. Mr. Young was a member of the First Methodist church and of the Masonic Lodge. He lived in Abilene at 1101 Albany. Survivors: his widow; the son, his mother and several brothers and sisters. Pallbearers: Ivan Opperman, L.L. Buettemyer, J.T. George, Robert C. Yates, C.T. Lee, M.H> Buettemyer. First rites were held Thursday at Flora, IL.
