Bledsoe, 80, which occurred in the local sanitarium Sunday. Deceased was one of the first settlers of this country, having lived here more than 40 years. Her husband, who was formerly a prominent businessman of Abilene, died 30 years ago. Mrs. Bledsoe was a cultured, refined Southern lady of the old school if there ever was one. It can be truly said of her that her friends were numbered by her acquaintances. She was a consistent member of the Episcopal church. Survived by two sons, Albert Bledsoe of Plainview and Tom A. Bledsoe (formerly County Judge of Taylor County) and three daughters: Mrs. J.J. Gilmore of Birmingham, Alabama; Mrs. Fred Leeper of Big Spring; Mrs. Dave White of El Paso; grand-daughter Ð Bettie R. Bledsoe of Abilene. Albert Bledsoe had already arrived in the city.
