ÒDickÓ Ferguson, 46, former Abilene resident who died Tuesday in the veteranÕs hospital at Dallas will be held at LaughterÕs Funeral chapel with the Rev. W.C. Ashford, pastor of the South Side Baptist church officiating. Burial in the local cemetery under the direction of Parramore post No. 57, American Legion. The body was to arrive today. Veteran of the World War, Ferguson was a member of the signal corps. 36th division. He had been in the hospital at Dallas four months. He left Abilene in 1930 and in recent years had lived on a farm near Cleburne. Besides his wife, the former Grace Owens of Abilene, he is survived by two children: Jimmie and Earlyne, both of Abilene; sister: Mrs. Dora Abernathy of Hamlin, two brothers Ð Robert Ferguson of Waco and Eddie Ferguson of Eden.
