Glasscock died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.R. Christopher, at 774 Chestnut street Saturday. Funeral held at the Christopher home Sunday. In the death of Mrs. Glasscock Abilene and Taylor county lose one of their most respected and beloved citizens. Her long life was one of usefulness and good deeds. The family came to Abilene over 30 years ago and lived here continuously until a few years ago, when they moved to Corpus Christi. Last June she, with her husband, came to Abilene and lived with her daughter, Mrs. Christopher, until her death. Besides the husband, she leaves two daughters and three sons: Mrs. Christopher of Abilene, Miss Mary Glasscock of Corpus Christi; George W. Glasscock of Corpus Christi, Horton Glasscock of Corpus Christi, J.A. Glasscock of Winters. She was born at Henderson, Texas, 64 years ago.
