Perkins, 67 years, died at the family home in Abilene on Saturday after a few days illness from blood clots on the brain. Funeral will be held from the residence, Sycamore and South 14th streets Sunday. Rev. J.W. Hunt, pastor of the St. PaulÕs Methodist church will conduct the services. Burial in the local cemetery. Mr. Perkins leaves a widow, two step-sons; six sons and daughters. The step-sons are: Calvin Sumrall of Abilene, Jess Sumrall of Fort Worth; sons are W.H. Perkins of Clyde, E.L. Perkins of Abilene, Alvin Lee Perkins of Abilene; daughters Š Mrs. Bebe Morton of Eastland, Mrs. Ed Cornelius of Abilene, Mrs. John Lee Roper of Eastland. Mr. Perkins moved to Abilene some time ago from the oil fields, where he had extensive interests.
