It seems only a dream to us. It has only been a short time since we were girls together, and now she has left us. She was loved by all who knew her. It seemed as if her friends and loved ones could not give her up, but the Father of all things saw best to take her from us, and sent the death angel and carried her home to rest. She was married 2 September 1897 to A.G. Vanlandingham and died Sunday 29 January 1899, near Caps. She leaves a husband and a little son to follow her. Cheer up, fond mother, brothers and sisters, here in the reward. The battle is fought and the victory won, and she has gone on to meet her father in heaven. She was buried in the country graveyard, near the Chapel, Monday.
