Mrs. John Willis

Mrs. John T. Willis, 90, of 400 Austin, a longtime Waco resident, died
Monday morning in a local hospital.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today in Oakwood Cemetery, the Rev.
Roy Sherrod officiating.

Mrs. Willis was born Nov. 19, 1890, in Waco. She attended Waco schools
and Baylor University and married John T. Willis in 1917. He died in
1968. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the
Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include a son, Todd Willis of 4804 Hillcrest; a sister, Mrs.
Roger Powell of 2100 Colcord; and two grandsons.

The family has designated the donor’s favorite charity for memorials.
The family will be at 4804 Hillcrest.
