Robert Parker Willis (1892-1959):

R. P. Willis, Kin of Wacoan, Dies In Wichita Falls

Robert Parker Willis of Wichita Falls, brother of John T. Willis 
of 4704 Hillcrest Drive, died at 5 p.m. Sunday in a 
Wichita Falls hospital. He was 67.

Funeral arrangements are pending in Wichita Falls.

Mr. Parker Willis was born in Abilene. He lived in Wichita Falls 
most of his life. He was in the real estate business, was a 
deacon in the Presbyterian church and was a 
former mayor of Wichita Falls.

He was active in the Elks Lodge.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Josephine Willis Shay of 
Cleveland, O.; two brothers, Grant Willis of Abilene and 
John T. Willis of Waco; two sisters, Miss Sallie Willis of Fort Worth 
and Mrs. Ike Hudson of Abilene; two grandchildren.
