Additional Comments:
John Wesley Turner worked as a treasurer and assistant bank officer in 
Abilene, Taylor Co. He belonged to Woodmen of the World and was treasurer of 
St. Paul's Methodist Church and Sunday School superintendent.  He was married 
to Mamie Allison Hart of Baird, TX and they had three children: Jesse 
Granderson (Grant) Turner, Mamie Frances Turner, and John Allison Turner (died 
at age 12).
